Justification
for changes indicated in Section 3.
This course will give students
hands-on composing and publication experiences in which they will face the
kinds of
decisions they will need to make in
selecting, preparing and publishing texts for a variety of media and formats. The
practicum we will be a collaborative
project in which students work together to produce an online publication. The
prerequisites identified are in the core of
the major and provide students with essential skills for working on this
publication—
having them as prerequisites assures
students have the necessary skills and would also act to make sure that
upperclassmen
are taking the course.
